Pitchers of the week-
AL-Mike Fiers (Astros) 2-0 1.46 ERA, with 12 Ks in 12.1 innings, he did give up 9 hits as well.
NL-Robbie Ray (Dbacks) 2-0 0.68 ERA, 23 Ks in 13.1 innings and gave up 6 hits and 1 run in 2 starts
1.The Yankees keep playing well, they now have the dread west coast trip with stops at Angels and A’s
2.No real surprises this week, other than the Rockies are still hot winning 8 of their last 10
2.The Twins got hot again and had a decent road trip. took 3 out of 4 from the Angels, struggled in Seattle losing 2 of 3, but, then went to San Francisco and took 2 from them. They now face the Mariners, Indians and White Sox at home.
4.The Mets got on track beating the Braves 3 out of 4, they got Cespedes, Matz and Lugo back with Matz getting the Saturday win (8-1) and Lugo the Sunday win (2-1), both pitched well, while Cespedes came back Saturday and hit a grand slam in his 1st game back (Saturday 1st game of the dh which they won 6-2). They now face the Cubs for 3 and Nationals for 4 at Citifield.
