MLB Ramblings 5/25

1.The Yankees have been a hot team so far, what makes them fun is this is a new breed with players like Aaron Judge, Gary Sanchez, Greg Bird (when he comes back), makes them a fun team to watch (This weekend- vs A’s)

2.The Twins have been a surprise so far, they are young but, watching Miguel Sano and Max Kepler develop has been fun and they have veterans Brian Dozier and Joe Mauer to help out, their pitching is questionable and that is the issue they have Ervin Santana but, they need Phil Hughes to improve and hope Hector Santiago and Jose Berrios keep going. (This weekend- vs Rays)

3.The Indians will be tough this season, they have the same roster from last year and Edwin Encarnacion to help them out, they will be in the mix (This weekend- vs Royals)

4.Houston has been red hot and they were my one team to watch, they had a bad year last season, but, the talent is there (This weekend – vs Orioles)

1.The best team is the Nationals, with the same roster as last season, they have good hitting and pitching, can they finally go deep in the playoffs is the question. (This weekend- vs Padres)

2.I am looking forward to Dbacks at Brewers which is a battle of 2 surprising teams and they will do battle in Milwaukee

3.The Mets need to get going soon, they got Caberera back and D’Arnaud, they should get Cespedes back in a week or so and maybe Matz and Lugo soon as well all this should help

Key Matchups-

1.Dbacks at Brewers- 2 surprising teams

2.Royals at Indians-The Royals are struggling and need a big series win

3.Cubs at Dodgers- 2 NL power houses

4.Orioles at Astros- Baltimore is playing well and going unnoticed behind the hot Yankees and Houston looks to be for real

5.Tigers at White Sox- AL Central rivals
