1.Giants at Dodgers- (Fri.1010pm, Sat. 910pm and Sun. 807pm)-Last weekend the series was great with 4 fun games, I expect the same again this time at Dodger Stadium
TV-MLB Net. Friday and Saturday and ESPN Sunday
2.Blue Jays at Red Sox- (Fri. 710pm, Sat. 405pm Sun. 135pm and Mon. 1105am )-They also played last weekend with the Red Sox getting the upper hand, the Blue Jays have shown the ability to score and I expect a high scoring series this weekend
TV-FS1 Saturday and MLB Net. Monday
3.Tigers at Astros- (Fri 810pm, Sat. 710pm and Sun. 210pm)-Two teams that can score, I expect a good close series
TV-MLB Net. Sunday
4.Orioles at Rangers -(Fri. and Sat. 805pm and Sun. 305pm)-Can anyone slow down the hot Orioles? Texas has the offense to do it so this can be a good series this weekend
1.The Twins are awful as they can not hit to save themselves, the pitching has been good but, the hitting not so much.
2.The Orioles are a surprise but, can they keep it up?
3.I would day the Astros have been disappointing? Makes me wonder if last seasons run was a fluke.
4.The Braves are 0-9 but, has to be expected with a gutted roster
5.The Royals are once again good as advertised, they do not hit the long ball, but, play a smart small ball style that works in a spacious ballpark in Kauffman Stadium.
6.The Tigers are a fun team to watch and could make the Central exciting with the Royals also being good can make an interesting race.
7.The Mets will get better once their bats wake up, their pitching will help them stay in the race.
8.The Nationals are a tough team and if they can stay healthy I see them at least as a wildcard team.
9.I would say right now the Royals and Nationals are the best teams but, there is a looong way to go.
10. The Pirates slow start is no surprise, they always get hot in July.
11.The teams not to sleep on are the Red Sox who can hit the ball well, if their pitching can stay healthy they could make a run and Cardinals in the NL, they have a good smart team that will not go away through out the summer.
12.Teams to watch- Blue Jays, they have a tough stretch with series at Boston and Baltimore before heading home to face a tough A’s team ,Mets, they have a 9 game road trip at Cleveland, Philadelphia and at Braves and the Cubs, they finish their homestand against the Rockies then head to 2 tough places to play at St. Louis and at the Reds in Cincinnati, 2 teams that will not be easy to beat.
